The definition of what is or is not waste may, on the surface, appear a simple matter   However, European case law and current interpretations of recovery, recycling and intended use considerably muddy the waters.

We routinely carry out analysis of waste designated for disposal. Issues such as whether soils or contaminated materials should be dug and removed from site or whether or not they are suitable for reuse have important cost and environmental implications.
